2016 Exporter of the Year Award

     
“Crestline is recognized around the world for a product line which is innovative, durable, and reliable,” says STEP President and CEO Chris Dekker. “Their strong sales and marketing strategies have allowed them to export these products to a wide range of international markets.”

Sponsored by Export Development Canada (EDC), the STEP Exporter of the Year Award, acknowledges STEP members for their achievements and success in tackling world markets. The Award was introduced in 1999 and since has been recognizing exporting achievements based on the following criteria:
  • The introduction of new products/services into new markets
  • A significant increase in export sales
  • A high ratio of export sales to total sales
  • A positive impact on the community through job creation

Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce 2016 ABEX Export Award

The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce's ABEX Awards honour outstanding achievements in business excellence and are the only business award that honours all private sector enterprises in Saskatchewan regardless of size and economic activity.

With a staff of just under 200 people, Crestline Coach is Canada’s largest distributor of emergency specialty vehicles and commercial buses. As a marquee Canadian exporter, Crestline has offices across Canada and the United States. Throughout its history, Crestline has shipped products to 32 different countries. Further expansion continues through Eastern Canada, the US, and Middle East markets where a significant investment in health care infrastructure is being spent and demand for North American made ambulances is strong.

2016 EMS World Innovation Award

Crestline's ICON 2.0 ambulance received the EMS World Innovation Award which recognizes the industry's most innovative products of the year that were on display at the 2016 EMS World Expo. The ICON 2.0 was redesigned with Allina Health EMS in order to fulfill their mandate to “Build a Better Ambulance”.

ICON 2.0 innovations include:
  • Next-generation ICON 2.0 roll-cage aluminum body with a lower loading height and lowered body skirting encompassing a two-step side-entry door design, lowering the step height;
  • New ergonomic interior design allows providers to be seated in forward-facing bucket seats with three-point seat belts vs. traditional bench-style seating;
  • Removal of traditional cabinetry along the street-side wall and designed mirror image and ergonomically correct medic control centers on the street-side and curbside of the interior. Includes slide-out trays within arm’s reach, working surfaces, functional switches, oxygen outlets, power receptacles and suction units.

Pursuit Of Excellence Award

Crestline received the 2015 NSBA Pursuit of Excellence Award for being an industry leader among its peers and within the business community. Crestline also placed as a finalist for the Export Award.
